Understand the impact of disordered eating on your mental health with the aim of developing a healthier relationship with food, whilst learning to manage your need to control your eating, weight or shape.
The course provides information about disordered eating and offers strategies to help you start changing the behaviours associated with your disordered eating and ‘diet’ habits. It also helps you develop strategies to change your disordered thoughts about food, eating and weight control.
This course covers:
- The link between DYSFUNCTIONAL EATING and MENTAL HEALTH
- Understanding why you eat your EAT YOUR EMOTIONS
- Identifying when EATING FOR STIMULATION
- Developing healthier COPING MECHANISMS for STRESS
